    Publishing Terms & Conditions

    UnBreakable Publishing

A Division of UnBreakable Enterprises, LLC

    Effective Date: October 1, 2026Last Updated: October 1, 2026

We believe strong publishing relationships begin with clarity. These Terms explain the general policies governing services provided through UnBreakable Publishing. Project-specific pricing, deliverables, rights, timelines, and publishing arrangements may also be governed by a separate written Author Agreement, Anthology Agreement, proposal, order form, or invoice.

    1. About UnBreakable Publishing

UnBreakable Publishing is a division of UnBreakable Enterprises LLC and provides publishing-related services to authors, speakers, coaches, leaders, ministries, entrepreneurs, and other storytellers.

Services may include, depending upon the selected package:

    • Author and writing coaching
    • Manuscript development
    • Editing
    • Formatting
    • Cover development
    • Publishing setup
    • ISBN-related services
    • Amazon KDP administration
    • IngramSpark administration
    • Distribution support
    • Author websites
    • Marketing and launch support
    • Anthology participation
    • Podcast and promotional opportunities
    • Author-copy coordination
    • Event and booking support
    • Technology and automation services
    • Other publishing-related services

Specific services are determined by the package, proposal, agreement, or invoice purchased by the Author.

    2. Project-Specific Agreements

These Terms apply generally to UnBreakable Publishing services.

Certain projects may also require a separate written agreement.

If an Author signs or accepts a project-specific Author Agreement, Anthology Agreement, publishing agreement, proposal, statement of work, order form, or other written agreement, that agreement controls regarding project-specific terms if there is a direct conflict with these general Terms.

Authors should review all project documents carefully before purchasing or signing.

    3. Author Ownership

Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, Authors retain ownership of the copyright in their original manuscripts, stories, and Author-created intellectual property.

Purchasing publishing services from UnBreakable Publishing does not automatically transfer ownership of an Author's underlying intellectual property to UnBreakable Publishing.

Authors may grant UnBreakable Publishing limited rights necessary to perform contracted services, including rights reasonably necessary to:

    • Edit
    • Format
    • Reproduce
    • Upload
    • Publish
    • Distribute
    • Display
    • Promote
    • Advertise
    • Administer publishing accounts or listings

The specific license applicable to a project may be further defined in the Author's individual agreement.

    4. Anthology Contributions

Anthology Authors retain ownership of their underlying personal stories and original contributions, subject to the publishing rights granted to UnBreakable Publishing.

By submitting an approved contribution for publication in an UnBreakable anthology, the participating Author grants UnBreakable Publishing the rights described in the applicable Anthology Agreement to edit, format, reproduce, publish, distribute, market, display, excerpt, and sell that contribution as part of the collective work.

Once an anthology containing an Author's contribution has been published, UnBreakable Publishing may continue distributing and selling that published anthology in accordance with the applicable Author Agreement.

Participation in an anthology does not transfer ownership of an Author's life story to UnBreakable Publishing.

    5. Author Responsibility for Submitted Material

Authors are responsible for the material they submit.

By submitting material for publication, the Author represents that, to the best of the Author's knowledge:

    • The Author owns the submitted work or has permission to use it.
    • The work is not knowingly plagiarized.
    • Required permissions have been obtained for third-party material.
    • The work does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
    • Factual statements presented as fact are made truthfully and in good faith based upon the Author's knowledge and recollection.

Authors writing about identifiable third parties should understand that memoir, testimony, biography, and true-story publishing may create legal and privacy considerations.

UnBreakable Publishing may request revisions, supporting documentation, permissions, or removal of material when reasonable concerns arise.

Authors remain responsible for obtaining independent legal advice when their manuscript presents significant legal questions.

    6. Editing & Editorial Authority

The level of editing provided depends upon the package purchased.

    Services may include:

    • Proofreading
    • Grammar correction
    • Copy editing
    • Developmental feedback
    • Structural recommendations
    • Formatting
    • Editorial coaching

Editing improves a manuscript but does not guarantee that every grammatical, typographical, factual, stylistic, or formatting issue will be identified.

Authors are responsible for reviewing and approving final proofs before publication.

Once final files have been approved, later Author-requested revisions may require additional fees.

For collaborative anthologies, UnBreakable Publishing retains reasonable editorial authority necessary to create a cohesive collective publication.

    7. Author Approval

Authors will generally be provided reasonable opportunities to review material portions of their project before final publication.

    Author approval may include:

    • Manuscript
    • Interior formatting
    • Cover
    • Book description
    • Author biography
    • Material content changes

Once an Author approves final files for publication, additional revisions, reformatting, cover changes, new uploads, or edition changes may constitute additional work.

    8. Project Timelines

Publishing timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Project schedules may be affected by:

    • Manuscript readiness
    • Author response time
    • Editing requirements
    • Revision requests
    • Design changes
    • Proof approval
    • Third-party platforms
    • Printing
    • Distribution
    • Shipping
    • Technical issues
    • Other circumstances outside UnBreakable Publishing's reasonable control

Authors are expected to provide requested materials and approvals within reasonable project deadlines.

Delays by the Author may delay publication.

For collaborative anthologies, failure to meet final production deadlines may result in an Author's contribution being moved to a later volume when necessary to protect the collective project timeline.

    9. Amazon KDP, IngramSpark & Third-Party Platforms

UnBreakable Publishing may assist with or manage services involving third-party companies including Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, GoHighLevel, payment processors, printers, retailers, domain registrars, hosting companies, podcast platforms, and other service providers.

These companies operate independently from UnBreakable Publishing.

UnBreakable Publishing does not control their:

    • Pricing
    • Policies
    • Algorithms
    • Approval processes
    • Printing costs
    • Shipping times
    • Distribution decisions
    • Account requirements
    • Retail availability
    • Platform outages
    • Content reviews
    • Search rankings
    • Changes in service

Third-party platform terms may also apply.

    10. Self-Publishing Management

Authors who elect to self-manage their publishing accounts are responsible for ongoing publishing administration after the contracted initial project is complete.

    This may include:

    • Amazon KDP management
    • IngramSpark management
    • Account security
    • Tax and banking information
    • Metadata
    • Keywords and categories
    • Pricing
    • Distribution settings
    • File uploads
    • Future revisions
    • Author-copy ordering
    • Proof ordering
    • Retail listing issues
    • Platform support cases
    • Sales reporting
    • Royalty administration
    • Platform policy changes

Completion of an initial publishing package does not create an indefinite obligation for UnBreakable Publishing to manage a self-publishing Author's accounts.

Additional assistance may be purchased separately.

    11. UnBreakable Managed Publishing

Certain Authors may elect ongoing Managed Publishing services.

Managed Publishing may include routine administration of:

    • Amazon KDP
    • IngramSpark
    • Metadata
    • Pricing
    • Distribution
    • Author-copy ordering assistance
    • Routine file updates
    • Retail listing issues
    • Platform support
    • Other agreed publishing administration

Compensation for Managed Publishing, including any royalty-management percentage, will be defined in the Author's individual publishing agreement.

Managed Publishing does not automatically include unlimited editing, redesign, reformatting, publicity, advertising, new editions, marketing campaigns, or other substantial production work.

    12. Author Copies

Author copies are included only when expressly identified in the applicable publishing package or agreement.

Otherwise, Author copies are separate purchases.

Printing costs, shipping, taxes, expedited shipping, and other third-party costs may apply.

Author-copy pricing may change as printer and distributor costs change.

Authors may generally resell lawfully purchased Author copies and retain the proceeds from their own direct sales unless a separate agreement expressly states otherwise.

    13. Retail Royalties

Royalty arrangements vary by publishing model.

Individual publishing agreements will identify any applicable royalty or publishing-management arrangement.

For collaborative anthology projects, participating Authors do not receive retail-platform royalties unless their individual Anthology Agreement expressly provides otherwise.

UnBreakable Publishing may retain retail publishing proceeds from anthology sales to support publishing administration, production, marketing, distribution, and continued publishing initiatives.

Participating anthology Authors may monetize their participation through direct sales of copies they lawfully purchase or receive and through opportunities they independently develop from their Author platform.

    14. Payments

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Payment requirements may vary by project.

    Services may require:

    • Payment in full
    • Deposit
    • Installment plan
    • Recurring subscription
    • Individually approved payment schedule

Authors are responsible for making payments according to their invoice or agreement.

UnBreakable Publishing may pause work or ongoing services when an account becomes materially past due.

    15. Refunds

Because publishing services involve reserved production time, intellectual services, coaching, editing, design, technology, and project resources, fees may be non-refundable once work begins or project capacity is reserved.

Anthology participation fees are non-refundable unless otherwise expressly provided in the applicable written Anthology Agreement.

Where appropriate, UnBreakable Publishing may choose to provide a project credit, future-volume credit, or other accommodation.

Any such accommodation is discretionary unless required by the applicable written agreement or law.

    16. Recurring Services

Certain services may involve recurring monthly fees, including:

    • Website management
    • Hosting
    • Technology infrastructure
    • CRM services
    • Automation
    • Managed publishing
    • Other continuing services

The applicable agreement or checkout page will identify the recurring price and included services.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, recurring services may be canceled upon 30 days' written notice.

Cancellation does not eliminate amounts already earned or owed before the effective cancellation date.

    17. Websites, CRM & Automation

UnBreakable Publishing may provide website, CRM, automation, ordering, payment-processing integration, or related technology services.

Basic maintenance does not include unlimited:

    • Website redesign
    • Custom software development
    • Funnel development
    • Copywriting
    • Marketing campaigns
    • Database cleanup
    • Advertising management
    • Content creation
    • Advanced automation development

Work outside the included scope may require additional fees.

Authors are responsible for third-party processor fees, chargebacks, refunds, merchant fees, advertising expenses, taxes, and other third-party charges associated with their business.

    18. Marketing & Promotional Services

Publishing and marketing services may improve an Author's professional presentation, visibility, and ability to promote a book.

However, UnBreakable Publishing does not guarantee:

    • Book sales
    • Revenue
    • Profit
    • Bestseller status
    • Amazon ranking
    • Reviews
    • Media coverage
    • Speaking opportunities
    • Event bookings
    • School bookings
    • Retail placement
    • Leads
    • Clients
    • Audience growth

Marketing outcomes depend upon numerous factors outside UnBreakable Publishing's control.

    19. Podcasts & Media

Certain packages may include podcast, interview, or promotional opportunities.

Scheduling and publication remain subject to production availability.

Participation does not guarantee a particular release date, audience size, number of views/downloads, sales outcome, or other result.

Authors participating in recorded promotional content may grant reasonable permission for their approved name, likeness, biography, voice, interview, and related materials to be used to promote the episode, Author, book, anthology, or related UnBreakable Publishing initiative.

    20. Event & Booking Services

Authors may independently secure their own appearances and events.

When UnBreakable Publishing is separately contracted to pursue bookings, the applicable agreement will identify any booking fee, commission, or service charge.

Unless otherwise agreed, Authors remain responsible for:

    • Travel
    • Lodging
    • Meals
    • Vendor fees
    • Booth fees
    • Inventory
    • Shipping
    • Event materials
    • Advertising
    • Other event-related expenses

    21. Artificial Intelligence & Technology

UnBreakable Publishing may use professional software, artificial intelligence tools, publishing technology, editing software, formatting tools, design tools, automation systems, and other technology to assist with portions of its workflow.

Technology may assist the publishing process but does not replace Author responsibility for reviewing and approving final content.

UnBreakable Publishing will not intentionally represent AI-generated factual content as an Author's personal experience.

Authors remain responsible for confirming the accuracy and authenticity of their final work.

    22. Confidentiality & Collaborative Programs

Publishing and coaching relationships may involve unpublished manuscripts, personal stories, business information, or other non-public materials.

UnBreakable Publishing will use reasonable care in handling confidential project materials.

Participants in collaborative writing or anthology programs are expected to respect the privacy of other participants and not reproduce, record, publish, or exploit another participant's unpublished story without permission.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute confidentiality or cybersecurity.

    23. Content Standards

UnBreakable Publishing reserves the right to decline material that is unlawful, plagiarized, knowingly infringing, or materially inconsistent with its publishing mission and standards.

UnBreakable Publishing does not knowingly publish pornography or instructional/promotional content centered on witchcraft or occult practices.

Authors may be asked to revise content that creates material legal, safety, reputational, or mission-alignment concerns.

Declining a project does not imply a judgment about the Author as a person.

    24. Termination

Project-specific termination rights are governed by the applicable Author Agreement.

UnBreakable Publishing may suspend or terminate services when an Author:

    • Materially breaches an agreement
    • Fails to make required payments
    • Repeatedly fails to provide required project materials
    • Submits content that cannot reasonably or lawfully be published
    • Misuses UB Publishing systems
    • Engages in conduct materially interfering with completion of the project

Termination does not automatically create a refund.

Rights relating to previously published works survive termination as provided in the applicable publishing agreement.

    25. Intellectual Property of UnBreakable Publishing

UnBreakable Publishing's trademarks, logos, seals, branding, templates, proprietary training materials, publishing systems, course materials, coaching frameworks, website designs, and other UB-owned intellectual property remain the property of UnBreakable Enterprises LLC unless expressly transferred in writing.

Purchasing publishing services does not grant permission to copy, reproduce, resell, or commercially use UB proprietary materials except as necessary to participate in the purchased service.

    26. Limitation of Guarantees

UnBreakable Publishing promises to provide the services agreed upon in good faith and with reasonable professional care.

Publishing is a creative and commercial process whose outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

No statement on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee of financial success, sales, publicity, rankings, audience growth, or professional opportunity.

    27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Author agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from material supplied by Author that infringes another person's rights, violates applicable law, or materially breaches Author's representations under these Terms or an applicable publishing agreement.

Nothing in this section eliminates obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.

    28. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UnBreakable Publishing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or speculative damages arising from publishing outcomes, third-party platform actions, lost opportunities, retailer decisions, shipping delays, platform outages, or other circumstances outside UB Publishing's reasonable control.

Any limitation of liability contained in an Author's specific written agreement will also apply according to its terms and applicable law.

    29. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to make a good-faith effort to resolve disagreements through direct written communication.

Any venue or dispute-resolution provisions contained in a project-specific signed agreement will control for that project.

    30. Changes to These Terms

UnBreakable Publishing may update these Terms periodically as services, technology, publishing platforms, or business practices evolve.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page should identify the most recent revision.

Material changes will not retroactively replace contrary terms contained in an already executed Author Agreement unless both parties agree in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
